Health and WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene)

Health and WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene)

The Health and WASH Program aims to improve the health and well-being of communities by providing access to clean water, promoting proper sanitation, and supporting hygiene practices. The program focuses on disease prevention, health education, and community empowerment to foster sustainable health outcomes. By integrating Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) services with healthcare interventions, the program helps reduce preventable diseases, improve maternal and child health, and contribute to overall community resilience.

In regions such as Wajir, where water scarcity, poor sanitation, and limited healthcare infrastructure are persistent challenges, this program works to address the root causes of waterborne diseases, malnutrition, and poor hygiene, ultimately improving the quality of life for local populations.
